My wife, who is a die hard Longhorn (our dog is named Vince) and her district’s teacher of the year, was giving a speech in that capacity on Monday. Her superintendent is an Aggie and chose to introduce her as “the only Longhorn to be called to the podium recently.” I kept telling her they could claim Garret Gilbert.
