66Pack, I realize your question is mostly rhetorical and spurred by NIU upsetting Nebraska. But it is interesting to note that DD’s “success” at NIU came after the program had been largely built by Jerry Kill. He is being asked to do something different here at NCSU – actually build a program and at a higher level. It may take a different skill set to build a Cadillac than it does to drive one. We should probably keep that in mind for the “next coaching search” because past results sometimes do indicate future performance – if the tasks are similar.
