Someone posed a question about guessing our next coach. Full disclosure, I have no clue, but I did pull up a list of all of the D1 coaches and weed out the following.
– Less than 3rd season at school
– Not been at same school more than 7 years
– at least a modicom of success (including current year)
The list is much shorter than I imagined only using these criteria.

Kevin Willard (41): 7 years @ Seton Hall Pirates
Chris Collins (42): 4 years @ Northwestern Wildcats
Chris Holtmann (45): 3 years @ Butler Bulldogs
Cuonzo Martin (45): 3 years @ California Golden Bears
Andy Enfield (47): 4 years @ USC Trojans
Ed Cooley (47): 6 years @ Providence Friars
Frank Martin (50): 5 years @ South Carolina Gamecocks
Greg McDermott (52): 7 years @ Creighton Bluejays
Billy Kennedy (52): 6 years @ Texas A&M Aggies
Fran McCaffery(57): 7 years @ Iowa Hawkeyes

There are surely folks on here that we wouldn’t want or wouldn’t want us, but using tenure and a measurement of success GREATLY weeds out the number of head coaches in our target pool. Interesting exercise anyway.
