Blood Makes the Grass Grow, KILL KILL KILL Game Thread

I don’t have to spell out which game I am referring to.

I did my shopping this morning. Not going out in public the rest of the weekend JUST IN CASE. Seriously, there are maybe 5-10 people I know and could see in Holes gear this weekend, and NOT feel the overwhelming desire to murder them. Yes, true PEAK HATE is here. I bought a 4-pack of tall cans of Strongbow cider (h/t to one of my bestest buddies from the KSK blog) to get me through this afternoon.

Repeating what I said last year, with even more intensity:

LINKY

From Cowdog, and I hope to Jeebus he’s right:

The scent of freshly cut Bermuda is palpable, and I’m all spatted up with no place to go.

Methinks the Pack got something up their sleeves.

HAHAHAHAHA Gary and Johnny are ripping the Cheats to shreds on the postgame radio

    As I turned it on:

Johnny: “Some of the Cheats players ran to the mid-field logo to ‘protect their turf’ after what happened last season. Well, the time to protect your turf was during the game.”

Gary: And as is tradition, the Cheats immediately turn off the scoreboard after a loss so no one can take a picture.”

    ZING!

    Way to go radio guys!

Good news for uNX, AFAM has declared this game to be an “A” for the Holes.

Why? Because of the “No Show”??

I really am sorry about Switzers miscarry in front of so many adoring fans.

Will he survive from that wicked arm grab?

Seriously Rick…Clempson beat a very weak defensive Gamecock team that was exposed in the opener against the Aggies…did Clempson beat them that bad?? NO…And GT beat Jawja and I’ll remind you that the Gamecocks beat Jawja with Gurley….Whopppeee….Now Florida gives the No 1 ACC team a fit…who I might remind you got beat by South Carolina with an extremely poor defense…

So to recap, the ACC teams beat 2 teams that a very weak defensive team(aka the Gamecocks) also beat and “just barely”…And jut how many SEC teams has the Wolfpack beat?? I really think some of you guys have gone “to the reactor on campus and have had your brains fried”…

I was pulling for both teams today, but I’d say a lot of ACC fans have a “little penis complex”…It didn’t get bigger today.

Give me stats that make sense if you want to refute…I still say State should tell Swoffy to shove it and move to the SEC so we can play “big boy football”!

Yes. Wasn’t even close. The SEC had a bad day. A very bad one.

Clemson essentially beat the Cocks as badly as the Cocks have beaten Clemson these past 6 years. That was a 3 score game much of the way. I know this was not your typical Spurrier team but if I were a Cock fan I’d be concerned. They didn’t look good this year.

The SEC is still far and away a superior league. The competition and pageantry in that league is incredible. But FSU proved last season an ACC team can go the distance and go head to head with the SEC, and win. Clemson is a program that has shown they can do it as well. GT’s win is a bit of a head scratcher. I assume the Dawgs were down that Mizzou beat Arkansas yesterday. A Petrino coached Lville program is going to win a lot of games and should be able to compete with the SEC’s best soon. Again the ACC is not remotely close to being as deep as the SEC but the top of the league has shown they can compete, and win.

Ooops…I forgot about Lewisville and Ky Jelly..not that either are relevant in fooseball.

Agreed on that…I’ve been scratching my head, clawing my nads, and worse since the Aggie game…Somebody forgot to recruit, several forgot to coach, and it was a setback…particulary today when you know Dabo couldn’t coach himself out of bed in the morning..It will be interesting with the Cocks, the Gators, etc to see how they can rebound…I’m not sure about Georgia though…they have a hard time keeping people on the field and out of jail.

Louisville has absolutely been relevant, and with Petrino they are a pretty safe bet going forward. If there was a year for UK to get them this would have been it. Petrino is going to get than engine running real soon.

The SEC West just beat each other to a pulp. Just one more (big) guy standing. That doesn’t happen in the ACC. Though it could happen with FSU, Clemson and Lville in the years ahead.

BTW, come on down, the “water in the SEC is warm” and ripe for a team from NC…

Play an SEC schedule, not just isolated games and we’LL TALK.. Now the girls over at IC are complaining about the cheapmshots on Switzer. I just got to the second half in the DVR. When does it happen?

No ACC team has beaten South Carlina in 9 years other than Clem’s Son and that has happenened only 3 times. What else you got, Rick?

..I’m hearing from the “It’s Time to Change Hats Crowd” over in Chapel Hill that the THREE HUNDRED EIGHTY EIGHT RUSHING YARDS by the Wolfpack in this afternon’s game in Kenan Stadium was the most ever by a VISITING TEAM in the history of *NC Football …

I can’t say for sure as my stat book does not go back before 1954…
