I am currently in the airport and Miami and just logged on to see that we haven’t had much of an update the last couple of days.

Nonetheless, I encourage you take a little time to scroll through the blog and find some things that might interest you. Additionally, on ‘slow days’ on the blog….you can rest assured that there are plenty of good topics & conversations happening on our message forums.

For example, there is a thread discussing:
(1) the Youngstown State basketball game last night (link)
(2) another marketing failure through an attempt to license NC State property (link), and
(3) some basketball recruiting news

    don’t get me going on BB. Went to the game and it was the worst warm up I have ever seen in the RBC from the second row in the last 10 years. Leslie and the rest totally unfocused, goof offs, you could see they thought they were cool and above it all. No intensity no team effort, just too cool to look like they needed to get ready for an athletic competition just minutes away.

    Our coaches should be dismissed, now. If they can’t get a team ready, and worse, allow a team to degrade our unis by being a bunch of goof offs, they should be fire
    Lowe et al do not know how to coach. they want to be liked. That doesn’t work.

    TOB says you can see it in there eyes if they are ready to play and he watches them closely as they head to practice. Well I could see it and eveyone around me could see it and we knew the kids were not ready and didn’t even pretend to be getting ready.

    What do our coaches see. Monty was out there clapping and talking to himself. What a joke.

    Would a Coach K team come out like that.

    Pathetic. I am not going to pay $600 per season per seat for this crap. I would love to see a smart tough coach take this team over now. It is going to be a long season with the coaches we have.

    Honestly people you can’t have it both ways. If the first half slump is a product of coaching then the 2nd half outburst is a product of coaching too.

    ^ OK, I’ll give you that. Let’s assume that is correct. How many games against even decent competition (not even necessarily great) will we win if we are “prepared” only for a single half out of each game?

    The “bad half of basketball” is definitely a reoccurring theme with this program the last 4 plus seasons. It will be extremely difficult to win crucial games with that non-focused, lackadaisical effort against quality competition.

    Just want to make a football suggestion. Im still thinking about the post you did a few weeks ago about the “crazy train” song for the football entrance. I have to say it wasnt bad but can be better. It was the best environment I have seen there in a long time. Plus winning helped that but anyway. What about “Sandstorm”? Has a great vive to it and it starts out slow and gets faster. Really leads up to the players running on the field. Just a thought.
