== Introduction==
Today StateFansNation will begin the process of putting an end to the ridiculous redundancies and the inefficiencies associated with historical Wolfpack-related topics on the internet that can and should be archived so that the next generation of Wolfpack fan has an easy reference point from which to learn about the past.
Today we unveil an open access forum for all Wolfpackers to log, link and build an encyclopedia of information related to all things NC State. No more wasting time trying to correct the ‘too stupid to correct anonymous posters’ on message boards after there is a definitive repository of facts, figures, information and references on the topic all behind a single click.
We were going to dip our toes into this slowly and gradually pick a set of topics to build out with the community. Instead, we are just going to flip the switch and see what comes of it while recognizing that it will take some time to ultimately settle into a nice equilibrium. I hope that you will choose to contribute to the endeavor both now and well into the future.

== Getting started ==
- Create an account by clicking the button in the upper right
- Can someone explain to the rest of us how to get this thing rolling? The front page of Wikipedia looks a lot different than here.
- Currently, we are viewing the "Main Page" and any edits and work is seems to go into the 'discussion' tab for the topic titled the 'main page'.
- I figured this much out -- here is a link to 'All Pages' which is a sublink under the name "Special Pages" in the toolbox section on the left hand side of this page. It appears that some pages are being added.
Q: Simple question - how can I create a new page, which I am guessing is a new "topic". Can someone walk us through the creation of an entry/new page. Pick a topic. Let's say "Tom O'Brien". How do we create a page/topic/entry on "Tom O'Brien"?
A: The way I do it is to go to the root of the wiki (http://www.statefansnation.com/w/index.php/) and append it with the name of the page I want to create. In this case, I am adding Tom_O’Brien, for a link of “http://www.statefansnation.com/w/index.php/Tom_O’Brien”. If the page has not been created there will obviously be no data for it. However, there is a link to edit the page (assuming you are logged in). Click it and then enter away.
Q: If someone could figure out how to upload photos to the Wiki - I believe SFN only has that permission, they may take the public files from Wikipedia and add them to this site. Also, I am having an issue trying to set up citations - if FAQ could be made for that it might help others - I'm posting this here in the hopes that it may be seen versus on the discussion page. Please move it there and note that we are using that when someone knows the answer. Thanks!
A: Anyone, Anyone, Bueller, Bueller?
