State/Miami Game Thread
I’m too lethargic to fully live blog, but might add a few thoughts in the main body text each quarter. Hopefully there will be lively banter in the comments.
This will be a good test of whether Miami might be better than generally expected, or if the Georgia Tech team Da U vanquished last week is just a dumpster fire. I think I know what to expect out of the Pack today.

Lethargy. A good way to characterize State football over the past 7-8 years.
Let’s hope Thornton plays like last week. Go Pack!!!
Well, I don’t have ESPNU. Any ideas on where I can watch it online?
lawful, if you’re going to watch State football, you’re going to have to have ESPNU because we’re their “flagship” team. Nice to be a flagship, huh?
Suggest DirecTV.
First Row Sports usually works well for college games, I am told.
My best friend is in Vegas, I asked her to put $200 down on Clemson today. Only -7 at Boston College? Yes, please. Without the weight of expectations, the Tiggers rule.
Run defense holding up well so far. Love how our DL is playing.
This is NOT a good defense. At minimum, we should make this a shootout. At best, we should kick their asses.
Shitty no-call on the unnecessary roughness, followed by a shitty punt. Ouch.
BJD – agreed on the no call. The punt was due to bad protection so just glad he got it out.
Miami is not a good D and a temperamental offense so I like how we match up.
If our receivers can get open we could have a much stronger offense.
A rare Bible compliment coming from me. I like how Bible has come out in first series. We need to stay balanced and aggressive early to set the tone.
You have to like what you see from the Pack so far. Look superior on each side of the ball – but need to turn that into a lead stat.
Pretty empty stadium

Just when I was feeling good about the OL…stupid false start. Blech.
pretty catch and throw there.
great run by Creecy!
busch league facemask penalty by the canes.
Creecy with a monster run! Nice pacing so far. Guess Old Testament’s performance last week lit a fire.
OL is light years different with Mattes at LT. Chandler finds his way to the grass after a false start…geez.
TD!!!
great drive.
TD!!!!
Hey, maybe we can stay within 20 or 30 next week after all. Woohoo!!
Announcer: We don’t want to spend a lot of time with Thornton with the ball.
Really? Thornton will be just fine if the OL is blocking like this.
Easily our best quarter of football all season. I’m encouraged.
CJ Wilson picks up right where he left off. Lovely.
