I like it. Simple and to the point. Also, I Like the way it throws a dab of athletics pride in for good measure as well, but doesn’t go overboard with it, and implies that our athletes are truly “student” athletes. Much better than trying to keep up the facade of academics and athletics being separate, as the old guard was so prone to try.
Cool commercial. Not a fan of the term “transformational” as it is one of those catch words. Folks in the military have recently seen a lot of stuff labeled as transformational that were POS.
NCSU’s been doing a good job with this stuff lately. And it’s a far cry better than what either school had last night…those were awful. VT’s featured some kind of 80′s-ish animated robot that scurried across the screen like granny making for the outhouse. GT’s was literally forgettable – the only thing I recall is that we all said it was worse that VT’s.
