Wow, it’s one thing to loose the grumpiest fans, it’s a whole different ballgame to loose the players. I hope they keep this fractured attitude thru Saturday. It sounds like Maryland now has real issues.

It can’t be fun to be a Maryland fan these days…that’s a damn shame.
The amazing thing to me is the complete discarding of last year’s rookie of the year at QB. I wish we could bring in Danny O’brien back to NC to sit out a year. The sit out two years thing is a bit rough though within the ACC.
Wow. Their players really sound upset. I feel so bad for them. Really, I do. Getting suspended for academic reasons is BS anyway. I mean c’mon….his family was coming to the game. He shouldn’t be held to the same standards.
They oughta just go ahead and get rid of Debbie Yow for hiring Edsall in the first place.

But if he graduates, does the “two year” thing still apply? Could he get his one year here as a reverse Russell Wilson?

Times are bad right now in College Park. Eight sports being axed because of lack of $$. They need to win to draw some fans.
Danny O’Brien has sucked balls this year. Not sure why as he had a fantastic freshman season. Guess he and Edsall don’t see eye to eye.
Why would we want Danny O’Brien? The reason he was that good last year was his receiver, Torrey Smith. He had 1055 of DOB’s 2438 yards, and 12 of DOB’s 22 TD’s. Smith got drafted by the Ravens in the 2nd round and has 29 catches for 590 yards(20.3/average) and 5 TDs. HE is the reason that DOB sucks this year. He accounted for almost HALF of DOB’s yards and OVER HALF of his TDs. DOB just isn’t as good as people first thought.
The more dissent in their ranks, the better. I hope they don’t come together, get angry and play to win it for their friends who couldn’t be there.
I don’t feel bad for the senior who didn’t have the grades to come and play. That’s his fault.
If JoePa was the coach he would have played.
