I am probably too focused and irritable to live blog, but I will add comments via my blackberry. For those of us not in the stadium, let us commune together.
Quite frankly, I wouldn’t have gone to the game with a free ticket on the 50-yard line. I need to be right where I am – alone in my own house. The cats will even demand to go outside before too long. I’m edgy, and worse company than usual. I need to see a beatdown of Biblical proportions, just like a heroin junkie needs the needle.
45 minutes and counting. I’m ready. Hope the rest of the Pack (fans, coaches, players – we’re all one today) is as well.
UPDATE: Everett Withers, you got knocked (and shut) the f*ck out!!

I’m right there with you…couch getting warm and my friend’s wife sitting in my seat, albeit on the 15 row E but with you. I am here for two reasons…wanting to avoid jail, fearing I’d commit a hate crime by jumping the wall and sprinting across the field to beat the crap our of Coach Mouth. I’ll be glad to see that Kelly girl get his walking papers. The other is that I’m fighting a bad cold and almost as tired of it as I am of the NCAA slow playing the Carolwhina penalties.
On an upside, I’m sitting here watching Gameday on ESPN from Bama. I am proud to say that I’ve seen multiple NC State logos, even a large flag behind the set. I’m not sure if this it’s intentional, perhaps a friend of Coach Gottfried or some alum. I do wonder if Coach will by parachuting in today as part of his recruiting efforts. I hate that I might miss that.

Anyone know if the game is being broadcast on TV? I’m in the Central Virginia area (Wolftown to be exact) and I can only find it on Game Plan (Dish Cable) for $25.
I’ll settle for internet if I have to.

VA – you’re getting screwed based on the split ACC Network feed (anywhere north of NC gets UVA/MD).
You never expect a punt returner to be named Bernstein (at least outside of the Ivy League). But such is the case for Iowa.

Anyone just see Tammy Bowden’s comment on TOB’s response to Withers just now? Unbelievable. No mention whatsoever of UNC’s ongoing academic related NCAA investigation or the overall absurdity of Withers’ statements, and the following response:
ACC BLITZ broad: “… Coach, were you surprised at all that TOB fired back?”
Tammy: “I think Tom O’Brien right now, he’s a experienced coach, but a little frustrated on how his season has gone, how the injuries have accumulated… I think he was venting frustrations.”
