Tar heel fans wish death to Chancellor Thorp
Tell me more about the ‘bad’ NC State fans.
We did a quick perusal tonight of the Twitter mentions of UNC-CHeats Chancellor Holden Thorp and were shocked at some of what we saw. (Being discussed in this thread from our message forums).
A lot of crazy stands out in there…but, it is hard to top this classic from saulsblessing Daniel Sauls:

…but, that doesn’t mean that carolinaguy23 matt ennis didn’t try when he said:

Thank goodness that Thorp isn’t a basketball player who might consider turning pro! Who knows how Carolina fans might attack him then!!

Can’t wait to hear about how Stoops, Saban, Sean Payton, Parcells, et. al., are dying to be considered for the greatest job in football, and how much Mack Brown would love to come back, except they really don’t want him.
Beautiful! The tarholes are now cannibalizing themselves: football fan vs bball fans, academic types vs athletic supporters, young vs old, grads vs bandwagon fans. Fantastic. What a bunch of idiots. I am going to be childish and petty for just a couple of minutes more. If the NC2A comes close to doing its job, the tarhole fball program will be spinning in circles for years. Sure the penalties will affect them but not as severely as the self-destructive bickering inside the university. What a beautiful day. Hard to believe as artfully as they spun this story for months that it would ultimately look like they maximally f-ed it up. True to form, they were too smug and “smart” to see what needed to be done. They deserve everything that is coming their way and more. Burn baby Burn.

I am sure WRAL will come out with an article reminding us how bad the NCSU fan base is to deflect the attention.
Folks I’m sure none of you know the Walker family in Biscoe North Carolina. I haven’t seen any of them in 25 years but they were the biggest unc fans on the face of the earth. In fact, they were the first folks in the county to have a VCR and they preceded to tape every unc basketball game that came around.
Obsession with all things tar heal was their calling card. In fact, I had to endure them watching reruns of unc basketball games back in 1985 and upon the 4th or 5th watching of the same game (over and over and over) they would still be yelling “THATS A FOUL” while the taped game was running.
Now they never went to unc. Their son Dale was the world’s 2nd biggest dork coming in a close second to the woman at Man-Mur hotdog stand with the painted on eyebrows. Dale sported pristine white tennis shoes, acid washed jeans and the coup de gras, the unc letterman’s jacket!!!
What I would give to see them now.
