Just think if Russell had one of his more interception free years this year, our turnover margin would have been astronomical, and we probably would have won 1 or 2 more games.
Also, Mustafa Greene’s numbers are pretty respectable. We should be looking for a breakout year (1,000+ yds) from him next year.
We’ll definitely miss Nate next year. I love to see that our % attendance is so high. Fantastic.
So proud of our defense, especially scoring defense which is really what matters most! I like that next year we return 4/5 tackle leaders 3/5 TFL & sack leaders and 5/5 INT leaders.
Percent of capacity is great, might be time for another expansion of the stadium!

Does TOB’s style of play promote many 1000 yard rushers?
Punting numbers don’t look bad but compared to others they are. visually, it was a nightmare and hurt really bad. why can’t ruiz & co. punt the ball? why was coverage so bad?
this season was a great step in the right direction.
No love for the Pack from ESPN, I see they don’t even have us in the top 25 in their early 2011 rankings. Not unusual though, they never have much respect for us. I’m very optimistic that we will prove them wrong though.
with russell or mike glennon at the helm, our offense will be improved. our defense will continue to improve, and i can’t imagine with those two areas going up that special teams.. specifically punting and kicking won’t be right there too. too many herbstreet suckers out there for espn
Nice compilation WV Wolf. These type of concrete numbers are awesome to use on holes to make them glaze over. Arguments supported by facts are not their strong suit. If Mustafa can make a run at 1000 yds next year look out. It won’t matter who’s throwing the ball.
The stats prove we were a solid team. If we can improve on OL, don’t drop off too much at MLB and DL – we should be pretty strong and can AGAIN challenge for the conference title.
