Game Ball, Kevin Reddick (and Owen Spencer)

Game Ball, Kevin Reddick (and Owen Spencer)

Thank the Lord Mr. Reddick decided to wake up the sleepwalking Pack. Because once awoken, NC State played its best football all year. And we will play for the Atlantic Division title next week in College Park.

And what awareness by Owen Spencer to catch a tipped knuckler in the end zone. Without that, not sure the righteous anger would have been enough to get us over the hump. Remember when we used to call him “butterfingers?”

Quinton Coples, in my view, should have been ejected 4 plays before the fight. He hit Wilson at least 4-5 strides out of bounds. Coples took two steps on the chalk before launching. And you will NEVER convince me that he wasn’t coached to do that. Dirty sons of bitches!

And thank you for showing much better situational awareness this week, Coach O’Brien. Screw the book.

Notice Jarvis Williams with the broom!

Yates did play a helluva game, and yes, many of his teammates did let him down. That doesn’t rescue him from pussydom, however. It’s more of a long term assessment than based only on today’s events.

Why didn’t UNC purchase a better quarterback, anyway?

I support Butch too!! Athletic violations – check; academic violations – check; victories againsts the Pack – 0 for…. with the NCAA due to deliver some extra special punishment to the boys in blue….

I hated that 5 yrd penalty inside the 5.. we were going to score a TD and settled for a FG. I am glad we won although the cheaters are pretty good too. The ejections turned the game for us and the holes gave up. I LOVE IT!!! GO PACK!!!! Bourbon tonight!

It’s going to be a while before I can regain my composure after this one. Great game for the Pack!

I’ve noticed already that my WalMart fan friends are the ones cascading the excuses my way.

The actual alums are rightfully silent.

I’m sure they’ll say that they are more upset about losing to Minny in basketball last night.

That was an upset; this wasn’t because the better team won (I don’t care what Vegas says)!

Good day!! On the football side we have our fourth straight win against the holes. O’brien now 4 and 0. BMFD now 0 and 4. And we are still very much in the chase for an ACC title. On the basketball side we’re 3 and 0 and playing for the charleston classic title…and the holes have already lost to the Golden Gophers. GO STATE!!!

Thank you TJ Graham for the runback!!!!! It has been all year coming and could NOT have been at a better time.

Next week looms large. Go PACK!!

Carolina has the best players money can buy and they still can’t beat the Pack……this I love. Plus their basketball team lost last night.

Go Duke : Beat Carolina next week……that would be icing on the cake.

I’m still shaking! What a game, and it was the definition of a nail biter. To many amazing performances to hand out just one game ball to a pack player though. Wilson for composure, Czajkowski for the pulled hammy 47 yarder, Spencer for the catch, TJ for the punt return, Moo Green for the great running to milk the clock, Irving for the game of his life, Manning for the safety…. I could go on. What a team performance!

I still don’t know why Jarvis got ejected… What did he do?

I thoroughly enjoyed watching tears smear the blue off the faces of the brain-dead Butch backers.

When the score was 27-25 and we kicked the ball back to them on a 50 plus yard punt I could just see them going down the field with 33 seconds left and not time outs and kicking a field goal to win 28-27.

Even after the safety I said they can still win with the score 29-25. They could have recovered the on sides kick and heaved it in the endzone to beat us 31-29. Those tarholes are like vampires. You can stab them in the heart with a stake and drive them in the ground and still they come back to life. It ain’t over til its over and sometimes it still ain’t over

I remember when Spencer could not catch anything.

Great win. I do not want to lose to Md.
They did it to us once and I do not want them to do it again.

STL : He got kicked in the head by a carolina player and he retaliated but it really did not seem flagrant.

I didn’t see a punch though. Reddick punched our guy and kicked spencer in the head.

“Green for the great running to milk the clock”

While Green was huge today, I’m not sure I’d give him a game ball for his clock milking running. If I’m not mistaken we gained a net total of 0 yards on three straight plays up the middle on that last possession before punting the ball back to the Heels. One little first down would have prevented some unnecessary stress on my ticker.

Of course, I do have to thank Green for not coughing the ball up on our side of the field a la TA McClendon.
