I just started at A&M in the fall, and these guys are legends here. Awesome stuff! Having peered over the side of the third deck at Kyle field, I am amazed he ever made that shot.
I’m in grad school for math. There’s a handful of Pack fans in town, but I’ve only met one (while watching the Pitt football game at Buffalo Wild Wings. We sung the Alma Mater on our way out). I’ve seen NCSU stickers and plates around though.
Thinkpack, they’re definitely legit! I’ve talked with people here that have seen it first hand.
speaking of friday fun… my classmates and I at the Univ. of Chicago created a video making light of the job search in the midst of an economic crisis. give it a look, we are on our way to 1,000,000 hits (although right now we are only at 1000… haha. No value add to wolfpack sports but I’ve heard its pretty funny.
Sorry, but I’m skeptical… I don’t see how you can make a basketball shot out of an airplane, but can’t film the thing while keeping track of the basketball the whole time. Just because CBS news says that I wasn’t edited doesn’t mean that’s true…
MikeD – I am in College Station also (although as my name indicates a bit earlier vintage). Wildwings is where I usually go to catch a game I can’t get at home. We need to organize a game watch sometime.
Not questioning the legitimacy, but it would have been a lot better if they had captured the shot going in although I can imagine it’d be hard to follow it down from the plate to the basket with the camera. Anyone have the link to the CBS video that they alluded to where they talk about how they do it all?

Thanks for checking in, MikeD!
What takes you to A&M? Is this grad school or are you a Wolfpack fan in Texas?
The ball went out of frame! They usually don’t let that happen. Leaves room for doubt. Still nice.
Any eligibility left and would he transfer?

Be skeptical all you want…but those guys are legit.
That would be awesome ChemE! I’ll start a thread on the board just before the first football game to find a place to meet up.

I’m sorry, this is complete and utter male bovine excrement! Come on folks, middle schoolers can photoshop these days!
