Please Support SFN
Just wanted to pass along a quick plea to the community on a couple of basic items.
First, THANK YOU so much for choosing to spend your time and energy here at SFN. We hope that you have enjoyed many of the upgrades we made in 2009 and we will continue to strive to improve in 2010.
We wanted to ask you to think twice about the following small things that you can do to help support us:
(1) Please don’t forget about the blog just because we now have these vibrant message boards. The blog will always remain our core and we really need to keep the traffic up there. We’re so blessed to have Derek on board driving so much original content there.
(2) Please take the time to click on some of our advertisements. Maybe just a couple of clicks a day on some of the ads? Whether it be from the blog or the message boards. If everyone just clicked on a couple of ads a day our profile and stature would rise with our ad partners.
(3) Please don’t hesitate to encourage more and more of your friends to join you here more often. We are shocked at how many ‘unique visitors’ we get on the SFN platform, so we would like to use those users to expand (a) to new users and (b) the frequency of visits.
(4) Please don’t hesitate to use our message boards to share interesting items from around the internet. You may be surprised to learn that we average just under a thousand unique visitors here every day while the LARGE MAJORITY of visitors choose only to read instead of commenting. We want you to do what makes you happy. Similarly, we want you not to hesitate to share some links or items that you find interesting from anywhere on the internet.

I click on two advertisements a day .It does not take long and if that can help at all I am happy to do it.
I’ve never seen ads when I’m on the site.
Could this be a browser option, or am I just missing the ads?
MIT – do you have adblock plus installed as a firefox addon?
That will do it.
noscript addon also blocks some of them
Can we get some SFN T-shirts or something? Would love to have one.
That is a good idea…worth looking into.

luv SFN. Really like the tee idea. Not to turn SFN into a “cause’ site, but I’d like to see links that provide the capability to contribute to initiatives like the Kay Yow Memorial/Coaches Corner drive currently being run by the NCSU Student Govenrment. I know I can contribute as an individual, but I’d rather see a pool of donations from SFN be credited for the support
I thought the “sad wolf eyes” t-shirt was our official t-shirt?
Those are available at your NCSU Bookstores…
