If you have ever taken the time to email us at email@example.com then you have probably experienced that it can sometimes be MONTHS before you hear back from us…if you hear back from us. There is only so much time in the day and unfortunately our mail box sits very low on our list of priorities.
Tonight we were cleaning out some messages and ran across a lot of suggested links and articles that we had missed over the last few months. We hope to get around to linking most of the suggestions, so we thought we would start with this one about super-fan, Dewey Corn as he approaches his 400th CONSECUTIVE NC State football game this season.
In November of 1975, he went to an N.C. State football contest and just happened to attend the next 60 consecutive games. He then decided to see how long he could keep it up.
Thirty-three years later, Corn has attended 389 consecutive games of his alma mater — a statistic that includes away contests and bowls.
“It just worked out that I was able to attend the games,” Corn said.
…and I thought I was big time because I am going to miss my brother-in-law’s wedding this Thanksgiving weekend to keep my string of 24 NC State-UNC football games alive.
I literally have my glass raised to Dewey right now. God bless you!
