Saturday Session ACCT Open Entry

Open entry for you to discuss Saturday’s games after a wild Friday that ended up with this entry. The conversations yesterday reminded many SFN readers of this fantastic conversation we had a few weeks ago.

Speaking of Jerks, Gary Williams and Coach K battle today when Maryland tries to extract any and all doubt regarding their inclusion in the 2009 NCAA Tournament. I thought some of you may enjoy the following video of one of the most amazing comebacks that I can ever remember that Duke executed against Maryland in 2001. (I cannot believe that was EIGHT years ago!)

    2 blocked shots on Travels Hopsbrough, but also 3 shooting fouls for Cryler in the first 4 minutes(same s**t, different day). Go ‘Noles!

    Regarding the Duke/UMd video, its nothing that we as State fans haven’t witnessed multiple times recently…on the wrong end of the comeback, of course.

    Yes, the video feed went out on our HD WRAL channel and our regular WRAL channel for about 3 minutes.

    MY heart just isn’t into watching this game. I hope FSU wins, and I am flipping over to it from time to time, but watching the ACC refs working inside the Hansbrough Rules just pisses me off so I’m not glued to this game.

    I don’t believe it–Cryler flopped and a charge was not called. Of course, a block was not called either.

    Thank God for Toney Douglas.

    FSU played sh*t awful that half but are still in the game.

    One of the better defensive efforts for the Holes that half and they’re only up 3.

    Yeah, you keep crying about the refs, Booby Frasor (and by all means, keep shooting!).
