Another night of futility as NC State has a lead coming down the stretch and only scores two points the last five minutes. Unfortunately for the Wolfpack, Florida State scored nineteen in the same time span. Inexcusable.
Best players of the game for the Wolfpack: Julius Mays, Johnny Thomas and Tracy Smith. Worst player? Tough call, but we will go with Javier Gonzalez, who committed three straight turnovers in the second half and topped that off with a foul to send FSU’s best player to the free throw line.

Okay, so Costner comes out on fire and almost singlehandedly gets us an 8-point lead. Then Sid sits him down? WTF? Does Sid have money on FSU or something? There must be a point-shaving scandal in here somewhere. There is no other logical explanation.
This lineup is terrible. What is Sid doing. Everytime we get a lead, he just pushes to get some stupid lineup in. Has he not learned by now, IT DOESN”T WORK!

by the way, it wasn’t just Atsur’s “leadership” it was his overall quality but especially his shooting ability. The only good player that Sid has recruited that is still here is Tracy Smith. Boy this team is hard to watch.
