Note McShay’s comments with 40 seconds remaining in the clip:

Early in the year, remember, Mike Teal, the quarterback, was getting booed by his home crowd.

Nate Irving is going to have a field day with that Rutger’s QB. 2 maybe 3 picks for the Pack?

Clem Johnson may be key for this game.

Shut down their big gun long enough for the rush to get to the QB.

Expect State to try to limit Rutgers position with a strong running game.

This game will turn on how well our defense can handle Rutgers’ pass-happy offense.

Breaking down the protections and getting in Teel’s face will be the key for us. After that, if we get some turnovers, we should have a good shot at the game. We certainly have the offensive chemistry we will need. I think we played some more talented defenses than Rutgers down the stretch, but the fact remains that they put up an unholy amount of points.

Nice Pitt Icon at the start. Will ESPN make that in a Tee Shirt too?

Also, I had no idea that Andre Brown had academic issues, was this in his frosh year?

So did Foulup ever write that open letter to the RU fans about not booing at games! Hope he has one ready for them at the bowl game!

Wasn’t Brown academic all-ACC his frosh year. He did prep for a year prior.
Seems like a fair analysis. Both offenses have been clicking. After a layoff it will be interesting to see who gets going first. I like State 35-28.

Brown hasn’t had any academic issues since enrolling, TTBOMK. As others have said, he prepped before coming, but since has been a good student, making academic all ACC at least once.

Rutgers was clicking on all cyclinders late, and we were too. It’s a great match up for the Papa John’s bowl committee, especially considering the (forty) ONE (to ten) common opponent. I wish I had the finances, I’d go, but Christmas with three young daughters takes it’s toll, and on more than just your wallet. This is going to be a very interesting game and an indicator for next season for both programs.

    Pardon me Big Worm,

But “TTBOMK” what the hell does that stand for?

To be honest, and at the same time show how stupid I am, I can’t even figure out one that see all of the time, “IMO”???
