Krzyzewski in One-Car Accident
Duke basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski was in a one-car accident Friday driving to work but held practice as normal, Duke spokesman Jon Jackson said.
Jackson said the accident “was nothing serious.” Jackson said Krzyzewski was not injured.
Police have charged the tree that Krzyzewski hit with a flagrant blocking foul and awarded Duke with two shots and the ball.

The tree definitely flopped.
This just in, Heather Dinich reporting…Butch Davis is personally checking every pine tree around Kenan to make sure none of his trees were harmed in the incident.
I thought this ended when the AD left for LSU. Oh right — that was a boat.
The frustrating part of it is now you are going to see Coach K in one of those GEICO commercials. Maybe not with Mrs. Butterworth “My goodness someone has put a logo over my face” but it could be a game between Duke and the Cavemen.
I cannot imagine the F Bombs that K dropped on that tree after the accident!

But I am glad it was nothing serious … I give Duke, their refs, and Coach K a lot of grief but K was close with V (too many one letter last name nicknames perhaps?) and has always been complimentary of State and it’s fans …
Of course, what’s said behind closed doors could be another story
