Commenters Needed This Saturday
One of the privileges of having authorship rights is being able to ask the SFN community to cover you when other obligations arise. I will be at a party on Saturday, in an area with no ESPN360 coverage. In such an environment, I will not be able to follow a radio broadcast. Even for others listening intently, it will be hard to follow without seeing the action.
If you are one of the handful of folks who get ESPN360, or will be in Byrd Stadium on Saturday (with wireless device in hand), SFN needs you. There will be a game thread, and we ask that you comment frequently. Thanks in advance!

this game is not broadcast anywhere other then 360?!
Really?!
I would happily provide assistance. It looks like I’m going to be regulated to the radio though….unless someone wants to let me borrow a Verizon login for Saturday.
Time Warner has me by the bools.
Shouldn’t be too hard:
Md has it on the 50, 3rd and 21. Pass over the middle, wide open, missed tackle, 24 yard gain for first down. Rinse, repeat.
I have ESPN360, but am tied up with a fund-raising golf tournament all afternoon. If I’m lucky, I’ll be back home before the game is over. (I’ll let you decide if getting back would qualify as good luck or bad luck.)
and on offense…. State at its own 32 its 3rd down and 6 yards for a first down. Wilson in the shotgun, ball is snapped. MD overloads the line forces Wilson out of the pocket running to his left. Wilson over throws the receiver. The Pack once again does not convert on 3rd down and has to punt making its defense take the field will little rest again.
i’m gonna head over to a cafe nearby that uses an ESPN360 compliant provider, i shall do my best, God willing. What’s football again?
I shall endeavor to do my best if I’m able to view the game on Saturday …
I will watch the game. ESPN360 is actually not real-time. It seems 30 seconds or a minute behind.
Terps by 10.
details later.
I too have ESPN360 but will be squeezing lemons (to make lemonade) and cooking big pretzels to raise $$$ for our scout troop at the air show in Houston. I didn’t realize that ESPN360 was available to such a small audience. I would estimate that it is about 90 seconds behind live action. They’ve upgraded recently so you can use Firefox and it doesn’t take 30 – 40 minutes to shut down the viewer after the game is over.
Over on PP someone mentioned that a Bar called High Park off of Whittiker Mill (sp?) Road will have it on a TV. It’s off Old Wake Forest Road.
I wish I lived in Raleigh, there is no way the wife will let me drive up for a “televised” game.
Anybody that wants to let me “borrow” a login for the day can email me at surfboy at ec.rr.com.
how about this “your castr” banner ad I am getting this morning – Says you can sports radio for your team. That’d great from those of us outside NC. Anyone know anything about it?
Unrelated, but a bit funny…Murtha a wolfpack fan?

Not that I would advise him as a guest commentator!
