Terry Bowden Says Brother ‘Deserved’ Firing
There’s nothing quite like throwing your brother under the bus in the media to make the family Thanksgiving dinner a lot more interesting:
“He deserved it because he, of all people, knew what to expect when he got into this business,” Terry Bowden wrote in his weekly Yahoo.com comments.
“Clemson expects to win the conference championship every once in a while — and they should,” Terry Bowden said. “After 10 years of falling short, they deserve the right to try and find a coach they believe can get them there.”

In other new. Terry said he would love to apply for the head coaching position at Clemson.
Late press news: NC State AD called the Clemson AD to ask why he was failing to manage the football porgram. “Having no championships in 10 years is an overreaction and too soon to pull the trigger,” Fowler quipped before returning to his lakehouse cougar’s den.
Well it will sure be an interesting and dysfunctional Thanksgiving dinner at the Bowden household get together this year. I suspect that if his dad keeps producing like he has in recent years Terry is going to say Booby deserves not passing Joe Pa for most lifetime wins by a coach.
Who cares what Terry thinks anyway,he couldn’t cut as a coach in the SEC or the ACC.
I don’t think coaching was what got Terry fired from Auburn… the guy went 11-0, 20-1-1 right out of the gate.
yeah, he had 1 tie, he sucks
