Duke’s philosphy is to constantly hand check on the assumption hte ref cannot call them all. Then of course when you go by them the refs call a charge.
Great idea if you can get away with it. Of course only Darth K coached teams can get away with it.

well it looks like duke is a little over confident and right now state is showing a little heart and intensity. coach K will undoubtedly make some adjustments. lets hope the pack does the same and keeps fighting through this thing. i dont like all these cheap fouls getting called. i normally dont like johnson but more power to him taking it to the hole. that was the right move. great slam JJ!

Fergie looks like he can handle the ball well. He broke down Schyer pretty easily. But I guess Schyer is the worst defender in duke’s rotation.

Thank you Javi Gonzalez. I cannot remember the last time a State player stood up to the Duke “mystique” and dirty tactics.
Cold cocking Greg Paules and then slapping the dogshit out of Smith’s hand (which was on his hip) have earned Gonzalez a membership in the all-time favorite club.
