Thanks for the heads-up. That link said Kerney was second in the NFL with 14.5 sacks, and that Mario was 3rd with 14. Who was #1??
I went ahead and voted for Mario, only because I could not find the choices “Reggie Bush” or “Vince Young”. Clearly, they are better at every facet of the game– including defense– and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them involved as kickers and punters next season as well if they have enough time to practice between the pro bowl and their hall of fame induction ceremony.

With 59 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, and 14 sacks, 10 of those in the last 6 weeks, I’d definitely say Mario deserves a mention as the NFL’s most valuable defensive player.
