Manny Lawson Wins NFL Rookie of the Week

Expect ESPN and other media outlets to criticize and perversely focus more on Mario Williams than on Manny Lawson for this achievement. Congratulations, Manny!
Lawson recorded three tackles, two sacks and two quarterback pressures in the 49ers’ 20-13 win over the St. Louis Rams. He was a key factor in San Francisco’s defense holding the Rams to 185 passing yards on the day. Lawson recorded sacks on the Rams’ opening drives of both the first and third quarters.

hell yeah, manny!!!
holla back youngin
Perhaps Houston got the wrong guy??? And I’m not talking about Bush!
I was at that game here in SF, he was a monster…As a Rams fan I was still proud of our NC State brother
Watched most of the game since my son is a Rams fan. Manny looked fantastic. I told my co-workers before the draft that I was surprised that the scouts had Mario rated ahead of Manny Lawson. I can tell you that the Mario pick gets more unpopular here in Houston with each passing week.
Manny is the man. If they can get in the same conference, maybe he and Marioa can be teamates again in the ProBowl.
WAY TO GO MANNY!
