NC State, The 4th Best Team In Iowa?
What looked like a “good loss” a couple weeks ago, isn’t looking that waynow. Iowa lost to Iowa State tonight in Ames, Iowa. They also lost to a good Northern Iowa team earlier this week.
On the flip side, Notre Dame beat Alabama earlier this week. It will be fun to watch Iowa, ND and Bama the rest of the season.

This is a perfect example of why I can’t get interested in SOS discussions during the pre-season or even in Nov/Dec. It’s just so hard to tell how good teams are early in the year, and sometimes even through Jan.
This has definitely been a very hard early basketball season to figure out. Plenty of time until March.
Looks like losing Horner has really hurt them.
I submit that Iowa is not 4th best in the state when healthy. Iowa when healthy is a top 25 team but with their injuries well we see what can happen.
