Gary Hahn just said UVa gets the 2 seed and FSU the 3 seed. I don’t believe that is correct, but they’ll be in the same pool regardless.
EDIT – I just confirmed it…division champs take 1 and 2, just as I thought. Somebody have Gary call the league office again please.

Wake tops UVA.If Pack cannot come back on VT, they will play Carolina in the 7/10 play in at 11am Tuesday (winner goes into pool with FSU, UVa and Maryland)
If Pack can make the big comeback, they will play Wake in the 8/9 play in game at 3pm Tuesday (winner goes into pool with Miami, Duke and Clemson)
Was really hoping that Stone could get a chance to work out some of his yips today. He got the call in the 8th, but 2 walks and a hit in 1/3 of an inning doesn’t show any sign of decreasing yips.
Nope…Pack falls short. VT wins 8-5.

F-ck me. The Holes in an elimination game once again. History tells us to get our collective Vaseline ready.
About a week ago, getting in the ACC tourney was doubtful. But hey we are in regardless of the opposition, though it would be sweet to get a play in win against the holes. We just gotta show up on offense, and defense, and move on. We can do it! Rain delays in Athens today, if you follow the softball team, too. Game now set for 430. Couldn’t get the game yesterday on television, but after going to the Georgia Bulldogs softball web site, able to get tv coverage via the internet. Go Pack!

UGa mercy’s the Pack ladies, blanking them 8-0 in 5 innings in the 2nd game. UGa to super regionals.
A very nice season by the Pack though (36-18, 16-8 ACC)
