Listening to SVP / Russillo podcast…
They are talking about the decline of Oakland Raider swagger, and Rusillo adds, “Right, but they are still like NC State fans that think their basketball team is relevant.” SVP does not reply to that comment.

On 2nd thought, I think I can prove him wrong. Most State fans that I know think that the basketball program SHOULD be relevant; not that it IS still relevant.Who is Russillo?
I rarely listen, but he does have a certain douche quality.

Lottery picks aren’t relevant?
Not really a good indication of a program’s relative strength.
Last year, a guy from UNLV was taken first. This year, the lottery had guys from Australia, Creighton, La Lafayette, Croatia, Indiana taken in the lottery. The NBA is all about the player and his potential and not necessarily what program he came from.
Stumbling drunk? Or just another “bandwagon Hole fan”??? Not much difference, I guess.
