Doc Muffette…with the high hard one! Good to see ya back girl…Smart.

There are a few things that I’d wholeheartedly disagree with you on, but I ain’t going to battle with someone that’s armed to the teeth.

    🙂

For the record, I think the $50M and the grant of rights are BOTH unenforceable. Contract law generally doesn’t allow for punitive clauses like that.

MD vindicated in court, State and VPI to the SEC, Clemson and FSU to the Big XII, and the remainder can form the “our shit doesn’t stink” conference and circlejerk each other’s nobility to their hearts’ content.

^ Same reason I leave that guy alone.

I believe in nothing and everything.

I merely feel. Most times I feel like hugs and beer. And a move to the SEC.

Hugs and beer come naturally. No complications unless self induced. The former ACC might have noticed.

I believe either I’ve had a stroke, or you have.
    Said differently…..Whuh?

    ^ Hey..
I like hugs and beer. Don’t feel that’s at all a condition of your stroke, or mine

As for a move to the SEC? Is that it?

Well…I’ve moved a bit. And you sir, know I’ve got this unshakable, inexplicable fondness for Starkville…so why not.

Yes, we could finally take that Starkville Hunter S. Thompson-esque road trip with Cowdog. The blog entry turns into a feature in Atlantic Monthly or something like that.

We could even print bumper stickers for our secession movement: 02.15.2014? Ferget, Hayy-ell! 😀

Mr. Dog, you’ve gone soft and many thanks. Beer and hugs are good (from the right men).

However, I once again had to visit wiki to understand one of your posts. MS, huh?! Learned something new. 🙂

Wuffie, be kind to CD and thanks for all your work too.

Ya’ll are fantastic. High, you too.

I do read SFN often. Just don’t have a lot of time for posting. Ya’ll quite often say what I want to say but just more succinctly. I don’t want to be known as the +1 lady.

+1, BJD. Hope you’re right. It’s perfectly plausible that we are at the “waiting place” with MD’s outcome yet to be decided. The question is will the ACC make concessions or play tough guy. If it plays tough guy, I think it will lose and all those teams will skip happily away. If it goes soft like CD, then our university might lose focus. It’ll be interesting here shortly.

We are SEC material. Seems like last year UNC-CHeat was claiming to be courted by a couple of different leagues- I believe them (SEC and Big 10?). Those competing leagues must have been serious with their offers for Swoffy to react the way that he did. Clemson was in open talks too. That’s what instigated the circling of the ACC wagons and Swoffy’s godfather mob vow (Grant of Rights).

There’s no doubt in my mind SEC and other leagues were also talking to us. I hope Yow is listening.

When will the MD contract be decided? Any guesses? I thought they won Round 1.

I’ve been hoping with the rest of you for a better coach since Jimmy V was run off by the press. We went through 3 mediocre coaches and 20 rough years.
But I was speaking of referees and games. Crap happens and calls are missed for all teams.
    But
I will not deny that the conference administration has looked the other way while UNC has blatantly padded players grades. And this is as bad a method of cheating as recruiting violations but it is not treated that way. One of the big attacks on Jimmy V by the press was a period of time where no players were graduating. If we had done it the Carolina way, they would have graduated.

Yes I do think we will get there and we are doing it the right way.
