DS Jr has been at the Adidas Uprising camp all week. The camp features the top HS players in the country. Dennis and other college players are there as volunteer assistants. The college guys do all the drills and play a few games against each other. Dennis by all accounts has been phenomenal. Based on what they saw, Draft Express has now moved him to their projected #2 overall pick in next year’s NBA draft. Everyone has commented on his explosiveness and ability to get to the rim at will. It’s looking more and more like we have the real deal here in Raleigh.
I know this is a long shot but I hope we can keep him for 2 years. With him and this extremely talented freshman group coming in and not to mention the talent we have now. We could really be a national contender. If not one gets injured and the team chemistry is well!
I’m truly excited to see what NC State Basketball can do!
