Clock mismanagement seems to run rampant. I would be such a valueable asset to a team on the sideline just to give advice on clock management at the end of games. I know this because I have a couple of decades of Madden experience.

Every major college and NFL team should have a “clock management” coach. Somebody who knows math and football enough to have total and complete responsibility for ONLY that.
