UNC sexual assault victim could be expelled

I see Yahoo News is throwing their hat in the ring on the UNC sexual assault underreporting allegations. Seems the new twist is the victim is being accused of harassing the assailant by reporting the assault to the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights. Apparently UNC’s “Honor Court” has the authority to punish the victim in a range from probation to expulsion. Classy.

D-Day, Saw this story several days ago on PP; thanks for posting here...the curtain is being pulled back further on the criminal fraud in Chapel Hill masquerading as an institution of higher learning. With this story, more grown-ups on the outside become familiar with this cesspool; u*nx is looking like it has a lot in common with China and North Korea (so that would make Thorp their 'Dear Leader' LOL).

You never know about the Dept of Ed. I was doing an audit on a new federal grant program though the Dept of Ed 4-5 years ago and did a search to find out about the audit requirements...This was post Bush-early Obama year's to clarify. The info said that an audit was not required on this type of federal program. Hmmm..something "smells" my brain says, so I made a telephone call to the contact person with the US Dept of Ed..It took several days and a few emails to get my point across, but the next thing is see is that the GAO has put the US Dept of Ed on a corrective action plan for having "misleading and erroneous information" on their website.

      I loved it!!!
