Pack Looks to Extend Duke’s Losing Streak

Call it optimism or being delirious from the cold, but the Pack might have a good chance at beating Duke today in PNC. First off, NC State has a tendency to upset Duke at home.

Who could forget the epic upset in Raleigh last year when we beat the No.2 Blue Devils or the upset in 2013 when they were No.1. Last year’s win marked the Pack’s 31st time in school history that NC State has defeated a ranked Duke team.

Duke hasn’t been itself lately, and fortunately the Pack hasn’t either. NC State looked like a different solid team against Pitt on Wednesday and Duke is coming off a 3 game ACC losing streak. The game should be a close match up, but as long as we play like we did against Pitt and don’t break down in the second half, the Cardiac Pack could pick up another win.

This is funny – there must be something I do not know about. On ESPN website, listed as players to watch – for Duke, Grayson Allen, makes sense. For us, Chris Corchiani, Jr.

Is there something I mmissed? Is Cat out and Corch Jr starting in his place? Come on, who writes this stuff?

No offense to Corch Jr but the only time we are going to watch him today is during TO’s in the huddle.
