To be fair, two of our five teams are recent new joins from the Big East.

As much as I hate UNC, and it’s a LOT, it would be pretty amazing to possibly have all 3 triangle schools in the Final Four.

There aren’t enough Rolaids in Texas for me to handle the week before the Final Four if that happened.

^ Oh my word – so Duke v UNC on Saturday, and we’d potentially play UNC on Monday? I cannot imagine what this area would be like if that all happened. Blood would be shed.

^^^^The Big Least has been picked clean. Who’s left? Georgetown, Villanova, and some other teams. And just what is the Big East, without those weekend afternoon Hoyas v. Orangemen games? Suppose there’s a reason a calculating person like Buzz Williams took a pay cut to make the switch to the ACC.

UNC would have to first get past WI and AZ… i’m not betting on that happening.

Actually it would be State vs Duke in the semis if that played out, but there’s a lot of anxiety between now and then. We’ve got our work cut our for us on Friday night and any talk of anything other than Louisville is foolish and premature.

Those of us who are self employed or own small businesses would lose our a&&es… ’cause the Guberner would declare a week long statewide holiday…

I wouldn’t worry about UNC possibly getting to Houston. The Selection Committee royally screwed up by making Arizona a #2. I think U of A deserved at least the #3 overall seed, if not the #2. This resulted in not only Arizona and Wisconsin being in the same region, but put them on the same side of the bracket with Kentucky.

No diss intended for Villanova, but no way should they have been the #2 overall seed, and I would have put Duke ahead of them for the #4.

But it sure worked out great for us, and UNC is in the “region of death” if you ask me.

    On Wisconsin!

Forget the ACC, how about the Triangle putting 3 teams in the Sweet 16. Think about that for a bit.

^and since all three teams split their games with each other…

No one can cry foul, cinderella or sleeper with respect to any of them…

As it was – as it should be !

Give Manning a couple of years, and it’ll be “The Big Four” again, too…

ACC to net over $28M off tourney

    http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/tournament/2015/story/_/id/12543543/acc-make-28-million-ncaa-tournament-success

This is a more important record to shoot for.

More ammunition for Swofford to get the holy Cheats out of their holy mess.

Given the changed landscape the “record” is pretty much meaningless. The $28 million is not.

It’s a great week in the Triangle. We need to enjoy it, you never know when this sort of thing will happen again.

For my whole life, we true believers have been saying that the best basketball is played right here. It is great to see it on the national stage and getting the recognition it deserves.

I contend that the $28 is pretty meaningless also, given that you have to divide it among 15 schools.

Better than $0 but I get the point – same one as the issue of the “record”
