Jakobi Meyers is the lone quarterback to sign with NC State in this class. Meyers is from Lithonia, Georgia and attends Arabia Mountain High School. He checks in around 6’0″ and weights in at 175 pounds. Meyers committed to NC State a couple of weeks ago, flipping his commitment from Kent State. The signing of Meyers is huge after Austin King decommitted from The Pack in December and switched to Indiana. Meyers is another prospect who is heavily underrated. He displays great arm strength plus has the ability to get out of the pocket and scramble when needed. Meyers can somewhat be compared to the same structure as NC State great Russell Wilson but will most likely be red shirted next season. After a late run from The Florida Gators in his recruitment, he stayed strong with NC State. Meyers has signed with The Wolfpack over Florida, Kent State and Wake Forest.
