N.C. State vs. Clemson – 9pm

N.C. State Wolfpack (13-8, 4-4) vs. Clemson Tigers (11-8, 3-4) – 9pm @ PNC Arena | Tv: ACC Network (WRAL in/around Raleigh)

GoPack | Clemson team page

No need to dance around the obvious – Must Win.

A win keeps the Pack in the RPI Top 50 and on the bubble.

A loss pushes the Pack out of the Top 50, slides them almost off the bubble, and puts them in 9th in the ACC standings – below the Tigers – with a sub .500 league record and three home conference losses. That would be ‘ungood’, as they might say Chapel Hill.

Enjoy the game and please share your thoughts.

I’m interested in seeing if Gott has Cat back in the starting line-up to guard Rod Hall.

I see two things that makes this a must win – the RPI factor as mentioned and the old win the home games. And you can add the old line about beating those who should be your lessers.
The team has faced a pretty tough line of games of late with some success and some failure but in the end to be the man you have to beat the man – starting with the lesser man.

Let’s just hope we don’t get to doubleplusungood.

You know, the ACC is a bear. We just went through an extremely rough stretch – we were underdogs in five of the last six and lost four. And now we have 6 of the last 10 on the road. And we are probably underdogs in two of the remaining 4 home games, UVA and Cuse.

Gonna be a rough ride …

Choke this one away and they’re NIT bound, at best…

Yep, and with no blue on the floor, looks like the refs will have the night off too. Sweet!

Too early to call these must wins. With a tough schedule comes opportunity, and a whole lot of it. We have played the big guns very well.

Wulfpack – the bright spot is that we have played pretty well with the best teams in the country and know that we can hang with anybody. Hopefully we are good enough to not let just anybodyhang with us.

Not absolutely a must win, but if we lose one of the games this week we might need a fantastic streak at the end of the year to make the tourney. We have games in which: the twins do well, Abu, Anya and Washington score, Barber and company play good defense. Turner and Lacey cannot miss from three and we avoid getting in foul trouble. Is it too much to ask for the remainder of the year to have two or three of these combinations work on the same game?

Wp76 and Rick should take the AT&T chick and Taylor from above video to Applebys and get —-faced drunk tonight. This game is in the bag.

We’ve learned the Pack can play up to the competition (end results aside). Now we learn if this Pack has any MOC in it. Will they likewise play down to the competition?

I say let Whit coach the end of the game if it comes to it. Gott don’t got it.

I’m so down … Miss AT&T or Taylor – if you’re reading, call me. Applebee’s FTW (I am an exceedingly happy drunk, btw)

Better still – get drunk at the bee’s and then stop by Hardee’s for fast grease to soak up the booze. A Hardee’s commercial chick could be on hand and dance seductively in lieu of concluding the night at the strip club. Later, log-in to SFN to see how Cowdog’s dietary issues have manifested themselves.

That’s what I call a night on the town.

    Useless trivia factoid…

Taylor and Cunningham happen to be both of Ron Howard’s childhood TV last names.

    Little Opie Cunningham.

Yep. Sorry – should have went with ‘stomach’ issues. I’m the last person that needs to critique anyone’s diet.
