A Change at the WR Coach Position for NC State Coming

According to FootballScoop.com, who is usually pretty accurate:

NC State: Per source, Dave Doeren is making a change at the receivers position. We hear a new coach could be in place soon. Will update…

News of this started circulating among “sources” Sunday night and apparently Coach D works fast as SI is reporting Syracuse WR coach George McDonald will be his replacment

I Don’t know a whole lot about McDonald but my first thought would be to give a call to former NC State WR Alvis Whitted who is the WR Coach at Colorado State. Whitted was retained by the new staff after CSU’s coach headed off to the Gators.

In Other football news, TOB has finally retired from coaching

    Any details on the background of the change? Was Jackson fired or did he leave for another job?

    I’m not mad at the change. Our WR’s can’t catch and our last coach probably didn’t share DD’s enthusiasm for improving that situation
