2014-2015 OOC basketball schedule rounding out

Got some updates on this season’s out of conference basketball schedule that we have been tracking in recent months.

* The Tennessee Volunteers have released their non-conference basketball schedule for the upcoming season at includes a December 17th visit to PNC Arena to play the Wolfpack.

* In addition to this match-up against the SEC, the Wolfpack will face the Big XII’s West Virginia Mountaineers in Madison Square Garden on Saturday, December 20th (click here).

* State travels to the B1G’s Purdue Boilermakers on Decmeber 2nd for the ACC – Big 10 Challenge.

* It looks like State may have games against two American Athletic Conference foes this year with a home game vs Cincinnati (Dec 30th) and a tilt against Larry Brown’s SMU Mustangs who many people believe failed to make last season’s NCAA Tournament because of the Wolfpack’s bid.

* State will host Hofstra at PNC. That’s a solid mid-major addition.

* On the lower end of the schedule it looks like the Pack will host Louisiana Tech and Boise State (Nov 28th).

* South Florida’s date has now been released (Nov 23rd) but it seems we are still waiting to hear a date for our trip to Missouri in the 2014-2015 season.

We will keep you updated on more as it becomes available.

If you are in a basketball mood, then you should click here for some more summer notes.

The following tweet from The Wolfpacker’s Ryan Tice provides some dates for some of the key games:

Awesome that we’ll have an interesting OOC schedule this season. Hopefully without Buckets we’ll be able to win a few of them, and I think that we will.

FANTASTIC schedule. Kudos to MG and staff for having balls and aggressively seeking opportunities to challenge ourselves and grow.

Get that Mizzou game added and that is a nice schedule. Should be challenging for our team.

Terrible news for our basketball team. BJ Anya apparently hit an old Gypsie woman with his car earlier this year and has been cursed. The results have been devastating. He is wasting away to nothingness right before our eyes and the staff is powerless to help him.

Look at how emaciated he has become. It’s so bad he’s developed something called a ‘neck’.

    Wasting away

Tragic, just tragic, to see a young man struck down in the prime of his life like this 🙁

Maybe Beejay read the “Summer Doldrums” thread and it scared the hell out of him.

… looks like to me … the kid needs to put back about twenty pounds of upper body muscle so he can keep on ‘banging with the big boys’… idk….

He’s still > 285. I think the additional mobility from losing 60lb far outweighs any lost muscle.

Our S&C program deserves a big pat on the back and a Ruby Tuesday’s gift card for all of the success they’ve had with our team.

    ^wow… in that case….he’s a lean, mean, fighting machine…
and don’t you know he “Feels GOOD”!

and yep… our S&C guys need raises!
