I think it is time to let go of “NC State Shit.” Everything for our beloved university is moving in the right direction. The academics have been there, now we are being recognized, and its because of how our graduates have portrayed themselves in their work. I proudly represent NCSU Food Science and willingly leave an impression on all that I come across in my field. My school prepared me well…

NC State Shit has no place anymore. We are heading towards change. Woodson and Yow are heading towards change. Now we as fans and supporters (and graduates) must stop making excuses for our school and realize this is exactly where we need to be.

Yay! Seriously, I am happy to read this but I care much more about how NC State grads fare in the most important poll: the marketplace. And from that perspective our STEM -focused grads (and business, acctg, etc.) are doing very well.

Hire a State grad. You won’t be disappointed.

I don’t believe we need to give credence to “NC State Sh!t” anymore, it’s time we moved on. We are heading towards change. Woodson and Yow are heading towards change. The best thing about NC State grads? Practical problem solvers. I don’t work in a field directly related to my undergrad major, but NC State still laid the critical foundation for me.

    STEM? WTF is that?
yes….it’s defined in the post, but What Does It Mean?
as AE said: if you can’t explain it (to a 6-yo) you don’t
    know what it means.
so: what EXactly does STEM do for NCSU?
    quantifiable: dollars? admissions? graduates?
it may be the best damn thing….just prove it.
