#AllRussellWilsonAllEverything

It’s a game that I somewhat can’t lose as I’m a stereotypical, long-suffering Redskins fan from the State of North Carolina.

But, today we’re all Russell Wilson fans.

Don’t forget that NC State’e JR Sweezy is starting on the offensive line for Seattle.

I can’t lose bcuz Ravens live to play another day.

    Hate the ‘Skins.

    Go RW!
    Go JRS!

And how ’bout some love for Hauschka?

  2. Pack78 01/06/2013 at 4:17 PM #

Skins have a second down inside the 5 on their first drive; really dominating the LOS early.

Lifelong Skins fan. Go Skins. Don’t hate Ravens but hate people telling me Ray Lewis is a role model.

  4. 61Packer 01/06/2013 at 4:57 PM #

    Hail to the Redskins!

  5. tobaccordshow 01/06/2013 at 5:12 PM #

    Don’t forget Hauska!

  6. mak4dpak 01/06/2013 at 5:31 PM #

Agree tobacccordshow, Hauska for the FGs, and Wilson for the TDS, via NC State. Being a Cowboys fan, there is no way I can pull for the skins, though my father was a diehard, but then he liked the holes of chapel hell too.

RG-III shouldn’t have played on a knee in that condition. Irresponsible, quite honestly. Cousins would’ve been more effective, and RG-III’s future was jeopardized.

Way to go RW. I noticed that early in the game the announcers were talking about RW and his pedigree that State got left out…

  9. state73 01/06/2013 at 7:12 PM #

Russell Wilson, NC STATE graduate and NFL offensive rookie of the year. GO PACK!

  10. ADVENTUROO 01/06/2013 at 7:29 PM #

Lets see…..three Rookie QB’s. I THINK I read that ONE was going to the Pro Bowl. Is he playing Next Week? Don’t think so.

I really think that RW would be easier to type and write about than RGIII.

Maybe RW will now get his OWN national endorsement contract….

We knew what RW could do….reminded me more of PR than any QB that I have seen recently…..never gives up….

I was at the gymn and THOUGHT that I saw him scoop up a fumble. I DID see him going downfield to block.

  11. packof81 01/06/2013 at 8:40 PM #

RW made several trips downfield to block. The commentators talked about that.

RW looked like a franchise QB in his 5th season. The Seahawks are hot.

WolfOnTheHill, I agree. No way RG3 should have played on that knee. I cringed when he went down and fumbled on the 5 yd line.

  12. blpack 01/06/2013 at 8:54 PM #

RG3 really messed up his knee it looked like. Hope he is ok. Cousins should have played in the second half. RW getting it done and they have a real shot to knock off the Falcons next week. I’ll pull for him and Green Bay now. RW vs. Peyton in the SB?

It is hard to make a living in the NFL as a running qb. I am a huge fan of rg3…but he needs to bulk up and run less.

Seattle rolls on. With the good fortune continuing for the Seahawks, with Wilson playing so well, and with Pete Carroll on the sideline, this team could make it all the way to the Big Game.

    wahoo!! too!!!

  16. oceanman 01/06/2013 at 9:50 PM #

First order of business at first home football game next year must be to retire Russell Wilson’s Jersey. He got his degree at State and was by far one of the best players to ever play NCSU football. He is one of our own. What are we waiting for!!!! We could even do it at a home basketball game as soon as his season is over.

  17. graywolf 01/07/2013 at 6:50 AM #

Wilson gave it all for the team and for the win. He has exceeded all expectations as a pro and has the pundits talking about his abilities.
We as State fans and especially alumni should be very proud that he represents our great university.

  18. WolfInVolCountry 01/07/2013 at 8:00 AM #

I will pull for RW3 until he meets Peyton and Nate in the Superbowl. Then it is “Go Broncos!”.

  19. ADVENTUROO 01/07/2013 at 9:36 AM #

Headlines (somewhere) this morning should have read….

STATE Fans in Quandary – Cheer and Jeer for RW in Same Day!

Wonder how many State fans cheered in the afternoon for RW in DC and then jeered (pulled against) RW in Charlottesville (UVA)?

Great win for Redskins and Wahoos (whatever that strange creature is…)

  20. MrPlywood 01/07/2013 at 11:20 AM #

There are a LOT of Seattle area sports-radio dudes falling all over themselves today to praise RW. How soon they forget – most of them were crying and whining after the S’hawks loss to Detroit (even though RW drove the Hawks 87 yards for the lead with 5 remaining, and the D that gave up and 80 yard drive and the winning TD in the last 20 seconds). Hope Northwest crow tastes good.

Why do some fans continually post “HTTR” or “Hail to the Redskins!”

I like the Panthers and I like the Pack. But I won’t ever “HAIL” them!

Plus, the Redskins haven’t been worthy of “HAILING” since John Riggins was there. Who HAILS a team that stinks???

  22. PackerInRussia 01/07/2013 at 2:29 PM #

^Come on, it’s a slogan; what do you expect? Should Auburn stop saying “War Eagle”? Besides, there was plenty of hailing going on this season.

I was really disappointed that Griffin was left in. I don’t buy that he gave the team a better chance to win considering that Kirk Cousins won 1.5 games for them this season. I also think it was shortsighted for Griffin’s (and the Redskins’) future. Really bummed about that game although I’m happy for Wilson and will be cheering for him the rest of the way.

  23. TruthBKnown Returns 01/07/2013 at 2:43 PM #

Gotcha, so HTTR is something you guys say or sing, a team slogan?

I’ve never heard that, I guess because I haven’t paid ANY attention to the Redskins in probably 20-25 years. They weren’t my team and I don’t even know any Skins fans that might say that in earshot.

Yeah, it was a dumb decision to risk their franchise QB like that.

  24. MrPlywood 01/07/2013 at 3:08 PM #

re: RG3 – Shanahan had a golden opportunity after going up 14-0 early to put Cousins in and actually let him get used to the game. He blew it.

  25. Wolfpack F-14 01/07/2013 at 3:21 PM #

    TBK,
HTTR is the first part of the redskins fight song and it was taught to me about 40 years ago so it is nothing new.

    Hail to the Redskins!
    Hail Victory!
    Braves on the Warpath!
    Fight for old D.C.!
