Looks better but similar to the start of last year.

Do we know what the negative yardage is on the sacks that is calcualtated with the rushing yards.

A 3.6/3.9 rushing average per carry is okay. That will get us by and keep defenses honest.

VERY HAPPY that the Tackle Leaders list does not consist as the DB’s for all top four slots. Very nice that Lucas is in there tied for the 1 spot.

I say two things. We have got to stop the blitz on O and we have got to stop the long ball on D.

Something is off with the last section, Top 10 Active NCAA Career Leaders – Amerson with 1 interception and Bishop with 6? It looks like Amerson’s stat is for this year and Bishop’s for his career?

Oh, maybe I’m reading it wrong – is that Amerson ranked 1 in career interceptions and Bishop 6?

  3. WV Wolf 09/13/2012 at 11:20 AM #

    compsciwolf, those are rankings

  4. Khan 09/13/2012 at 12:22 PM #

Well, the Khan Index is in and stands at 8.875, up 1.125 points from last week’s 7.75 number, which puts us solidy on the cusp of the bottom quadrant of the league.

If this is to be our year to contend for an ACC championship, we are definitely headed in the wrong direction. But yeah, TOB is an excellent coach.

    “Toughest Schedule (FBS Only)
    Cumulative Opposition: 8-4 (.667) ACC Rank: 5, Nat’l Rank: 29
    Future Opposition: 6-4 (.600) ACC Rank: 7, Nat’l Rank: 41
    Past Opposition: 2-0 (1.000) ACC Rank: 1, Nat’l Rank: 1”

If I’m reading this right, we’ve played the toughest schedule in FBS to date.

  6. Prowling Woofie 09/13/2012 at 1:01 PM #

Yep, considering that most of the league has started with cupcakes, these rankings aren’t too shocking. Look to see a dramatic improvement over the next two weeks.

If not, it will be a very loooonnnnggg season…

  7. WV Wolf 09/13/2012 at 1:06 PM #

I went back to double check the schedule rankings and the NCAA had updated their numbers since I originally posted the entry, it now has the updated numbers.

triadwolf, I wouldn’t get too excited about the toughest schedule, we’re in a 47 way tie for 1st.

  8. Wulfpack 09/13/2012 at 9:22 PM #

South Alabama and Citadel will take care of that “tough schedule” ranking.
