Greg Little continues to exemplify ‘Carolina Class’

Pictured above: A treasure trove of goodies for Greg Little while he was on scholarship at UNC-CH. Little originally committed to play football at Notre Dame but surprised the world by unexpectedly signing with UNC-CH on signing day.

We can’t play a guy that’s going to drop footballs,” said Shurmur.

And Shurmur’s not amused by Little’s Usain Bolt poses when the Browns are losing and he’s not being productive. During Sunday’s loss to Buffalo, Little caught two passes for 17 yards and “Bolted” after a 17-yarder that was wiped out by a holding call. He also did the Bolt in Cincinnati and danced in the end zone after his TD while the Browns were losing.

“I can’t speak for everyone else, but I’ve had my conversations with him about that. That can be said. Now whether people see me ranting and raving on the sideline at a player – trust me, I have my conversations with him.”

Shurmur hinted that he’ll make changes at receiver if Little doesn’t turn it around soon. He dropped a clutch third-down pass to kill a drive and drew the ire of Shurmur and receivers coach Mike Wilson. Another one went through his hands and was caught by Josh Gordon. Little also dropped one at the goal-line against the Eagles that might have gone for a TD.

So…he has been dropping passes and performing inappropriately timed celebrations? What else is new? This guy is dumb as rocks and that’s all there is to it. Not much of a story/update here. He’ll never learn from his mistakes. Heck he probably thinks that he doesn’t ever make mistakes.

Good thing there aren’t any tickets within view of the camera eye there I guess. I can just imagine the uproar if kicks and ducketts both were on display.

Not only is he dumb as a bag of bricks but the Wiley family is going to no small trouble to keep their daughter’s shenanigans with him out of public view. It would be interesting to say te least to know what they are hiding.

Better “late” than never huh Jenn?

I saw his schtick on Sunday while watching the Bills game. I was hoping someone would point up to the scoreboard so he could familiarize himself with the numbers up there. Then again, math probably isn’t his strong suit, so the score might not have meant much. Unless someone could translate it into Swahili for him.

Since Wiley called Butch Davis, be interesting to see her phone records! Butch’s phone pretty much shows he knew what was going on.

Interesting how UNC-CHeat continues to send info to the NCAA but never as self reporting of a violation. They leave the burden of proof to the NCAA. How many other schools could get away with that?

And if the hiring of Tami Hansbrough is a violation would that be a violation of their probation? I don’t see how the NCAA can ignore this, no other school could get away with hiring a parent of an All American player so he would stay for his senior year. If that were Clemson, Calipari, or UConn that national champ banner already be history!

Nothing says “I’ve made it in life” like owning six or seven pairs of sneakers.

This picture looks like it should be in Dave Chappelle’s reparations skit…

You mean there’s someone more incompetent than the replacement officials?

in one of my FF leagues, Little was placed on my team. He was cut immediately. I dont care if he turns into the most productive receiver in the league (not likely) but he will not be on my team.

I live in Cleveland. Browns fans on the post-game call-in were none too pleased with Little’s antics either. I wonder if they realize he played for Butchy in college? If so, they’d think less of him.

    What a butt-chugger.

Anybody catch Cam Newton doing his superman pose while getting his tail handed to him down 23 , 7 to the Giants? No maturity and zero leadership. Really disappointing.

  17. Alpha Wolf 09/26/2012 at 12:35 PM #

Yeah, that looked asinine. Cam needs to grow up and act like a man.

Character does matter and State grads in the pros have carried themselves well. On the other hand UNC grads have been one embarrassment after another. I’ll take TOB’s method over Cheater Hills any day. You can bet coaches in the NFL notice too.

  19. StateofthePack 09/26/2012 at 3:07 PM #

Let me get this straight…a team in the NFL drafts a receiver whose chosen profession is to catch a football but sucks at it and is an asshat to boot…anyone wonder why the Browns are the Browns??

  20. MattN 09/26/2012 at 6:58 PM #

Didn’t know the Bengals allowed vasiline in the lockerroom…

A Butt Chugger, Alpha? Are you and I the only ones that saw what the UT idiots did?

  22. UpstateSCWolfpack 09/27/2012 at 8:11 PM #

Watching the game, Greg Little dropped a pass he should have caught. He lead the league last year in dropped passes.
