The goal for the 2012 Golf Classic is to fund a million dollar grant to research early diagnostics and treatments for 9-11 First Responders. In just 19 years, the Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic has donated nearly $15 Million to The V Foundation for Cancer Research.

If you can’t make it out to any of the events, please consider making a donation to the V Foundation, which awards 100 percent of all new, direct cash donations and net proceeds of events directly to cancer research and related programs. You can get more info and make a donation at jimmyv.org

If you can make it out to the events this weekend, please do. This will be my 13th year as a volunteer and it’s always a fun weekend. The celebrities are always happy to be there and willing to take pictures and sign autographs. And most importantly it all goes to benefit a great cause.

Don’t give up, don’t ever give up.
