Wow, there is a lag in the webcast on 98.7. Just heard the fumble recovery! Whomp ’em!

She was 67 and her brother 64. Her Dad graduated from Broughton too, back in the 30’s.. Most of her cousins and their kids graduated from Broughton too, but before and after 83.

With the lag, I had a feeling we didn’t score or you guys would have posted! Yuk!

Hey PapaJohn – you’re welcome. Someone else passed on the link last week, so I got to hear the last bit of the UNC game. If you’re into torrents at all you should check out http://www.accvideos.com – I grabbed the video of the Heels game from there.

I’m listening from west coast Canada. It’s after midnight for you, eh?

65 was my soph year at State, Beez. What channel was it on in Charlotte? I live in Rock Hill and never could find it on TV.

Beez, where did you live in Raleigh growing up??

Crap, that killed us! Got my BC tshirt on and will put on my Gamecock hat shortly! BEAT CLEMPSON!!!!

Interceptions returned for TD against WF:
    2007-1
    2006-0
    2005-2
    2004-1

I grew up on the 2700 block of Everett, between Brooks and Gardner – down the hill from the rose garden. Many of you probably know the neighborhood because you parked their until the 80s. But dad worked in Harrilson, so that was perfect.

My fraternity buddy from App called from charlotte – he just got digital cable, but they started laughing that wheel of fortune had come on, no mention of channel.

The comment about ignoring the run is particularly on target. JE could have done some damage had we gone there sooner. Stae vs. UMd for the smurf turf bowl.

I’z got “Evan’s fatigue”. The boy ain’t got it.

  14. EverettBeez 11/17/2007 at 9:01 PM #

hey, few of us were expecting a win here today. I didn’t expect a lose this ugly, but there you are. We need to win next saturday, period.

It’s pretty simple – Wake is the best opponent we’ve played in the post-bye part of our schedule. The worst matchup, too. Wake took the run away from us and dared Evans to beat them (and their physical CBs). He couldn’t do so, and he didn’t get away with as many floated or jump ball throws.

I like our chances against MD.

Man – the states on espn show things just really really even until you get to penalities and turn overs. That sound familiar?

Tony is talking about the game being a 3 point game at one point.
    Yeah, for 14 second?
    nice.

  17. EverettBeez 11/17/2007 at 9:05 PM #

ya’ll notice StateFans has changed the lead in?
I’d say he sums it up nicely.

  18. PurplePeopleEaters 11/17/2007 at 9:06 PM #

Evans just stares down his receivers until he’s pretty much asking the CB’s to jump the route.

  19. EverettBeez 11/17/2007 at 9:09 PM #

no freaking way – Bama has lost to ULa Monroe?
hahahahahahahaha – I guess that will keep our game from getting much attention.
    Oh my lord – hahahaha

  20. JeremyH 11/17/2007 at 9:10 PM #

he overthrew a lot of receivers today, maybe was trying to put it in a place it can’t be intercepted? there are other ways to do that, and we should practice them!

  21. EverettBeez 11/17/2007 at 9:10 PM #

21-14, UL-M over The University of Alabama.

  22. EverettBeez 11/17/2007 at 9:11 PM #

Jeremy, his dad and Tony said that several times – that DE was trying to make sure it was intercepted. But that can make it darn hard for your guys to catch it too.

I parked there a lot in the 70-72 time frame. It always amazed me how I could slide my VW Beetle into some of the tightest spots you could imagine so I could make it to class on time! My wife live in the 5 Points area when she was young. There house was where the Winn Dixie was for a long time across from the Baptist Church. They moved to Coley Forest between Ridge Road and Glenwood in the late 50’s/early 60’s. Her parents live there until 2001 when we moved both to Whitaker Glen.

Does this officially kill any bowl game? No matter, but I’m glad they’ve made some progress in the last few games. Beats the hell out of “moral victories”!

    Butchy to Arky??????

  24. MrPlywood 11/17/2007 at 9:17 PM #

I wonder how much coaching Johnny gives Daniel, if any. Johnny seems to try to be objective and call the game as he sees it, but I bet it kills him to watch sometimes.

our record is now 3-4/5-6. . . so much for synchronicity.
