Ticket Demand Strong for VPI

Last year, Ohio State visited Carter-Finley Stadium for a non-conference football game against NC State in the middle-to-end part of September. The game brought with it inflated ticket prices that had never previously been seen for an NC State game with some tickets fetching in excess of $250 each on EBay.

This year, NC State will host defending ACC Champion Virginia Tech to open the 2005 season and a quick check on Ebay indicates that we are again experiencing a spike in ticket demand. In addition to a significant amount of buzz related to that game, Sunday night’s affair against the Hokies will also be the inaugural game for Carter-Finley Stadium’s new Vaughn Towers.
